Historic Canton Church - 1875
St. Joseph Cemetery
The Canton Church was moved in 1952 when the Canyon Ferry Dam flooded the valley covering the historic town of Canton. A short walk from the current location of the 
Canton Chuch is St. Joseph cemetery - the original site of the cemetery for the town of Canton. If you are visiting the Canton Church you might want to take the short trip to the cemetery.
A directory of the people buried in the cemetery is available. Many of these people were the first settlers in this valley and were responsible for the building of the Canton Church.
